Zero Fatalities is the focus of the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT)and the focus of this weeks edition of Observations with Bob Fisher. Bob welcomes Meg Ragonese-Public Information Officer for NDOT and special guest Masey Tool, an honor student in Douglas County who has a lot to tell fellow students about reckless driving and driving while under the influence of Alcohol or drugs. Meg talks about the Zero Fatalities program and how NDOT plans to make Nevadans more aware of the deaths on our highways.

About Observations

Nevada Observations is a non-profit, statewide radio and television program dedicated to increasing public awareness of important issues that affect Nevadans. Hosted by Bob Fisher, President of the Nevada Broadcasters Association, Observations airs weekly on dozens of Radio and Television stations throughout Nevada and reaches thousands of listeners.

Since 1994 Observations has provided an invaluable platform through which many of Nevada's most important issues have been discussed with guests ranging from state and local officials to celebrities and community leaders. Observations is the most listened to public affairs program in the great state of Nevada.

Shows are recorded in-studio near downtown Las Vegas, less than 10 minutes from the Strip and 5 minutes from McCarran Airport. Interviews are typically no longer than 30 minutes and are usually scheduled weeks prior to the show airing.
